I have a plan in pdf format for a t square fence for a table saw that is similar to beisemeyer fence system
It involves a good deal of welding.
i can email the plan and have it quoted. I 'd rather have it done by one of us kesa sa machine shop . at least here kabisado natin yung mga tolerances and what alignment is crucial and which isnt,
so far isa lang yata ang kilala kong mahilig sa bakal dito eh .. *hint hint* JayL ehhehe
sorry Timber i am not sure kung dito ako mag post. But it seems this is the most appropriate section.
Re: someone who is willing to make a t-square fence for a table saw
needless to say that I am happy with the 4100 fence, I need the added capacity to cut more than 25", so maybe when the new space materializes I will look back at this thread. hope you guys do build one so we would know what to do and avoid when we make one ourselves... :p

Re: someone who is willing to make a t-square fence for a table saw
hehehe
For me, sayang kasi if i dont take the full advantage of my space. so having a full feldged fence extension would make alot of sense. Expecially in the long run.
ang hindi ko lang alam is if i can have this fence compatible with my Jet TS and the Bosch ts at the same time

Bee if I were in your position I'll wait for the 4100 before investing further. Needless to say this saw will take your work to the next level.

Re: someone who is willing to make a t-square fence for a table saw
i am getting all giddy and excited so for the mean time i need something to quench it down a bit hehehe
Re: someone who is willing to make a t-square fence for a table saw
I am contemplating on building one maybe sooner than I first thought. someone offered me his service(metalwork) and maybe even materials for free. so who am I to resist? but the welding work might have to be done somewhere else... but that would be a gloat if ever

Re: someone who is willing to make a t-square fence for a table saw
i could make the rails easy. angle bar with drilled holes. The cam lock for the fence itself is the technical bit since i dont understand how a cam lock works.
Re: someone who is willing to make a t-square fence for a table saw
make a round piece and drill off center, one side would have less space from the center while the other part will have more. if the side with less space touches the rail, it would be in the lock position.

Re: someone who is willing to make a t-square fence for a table saw
i suspected that was the case. I was going through the plan. too much words. got tired... I am a picture person hahahaha. Come to think of it i watch woodworking clips in you tube with the sound off.......
if i can establish a rail then it seems the fence is doable...
i ll just have a stretch of 2.5 x 2.5 angle bar.... and then i will stare and see what pops in my head. I rarely plan for my projects i usually sit oogle then do something and everything else is on the fly. that why it takes me sooooooooooooo long to finish something 🙂
Re: someone who is willing to make a t-square fence for a table saw
hey, I do that too... a lot. I try not to do things when I am not in the mood.
