Hey everyone!
My name is Erny. Born in Cavite but moved to Vancouver when I was 10. I've spent more time in the PH than in Canada in the last couple of years since I was trying to build a shoe company with manufacturing in Marikina.
Anyways, I'm back in Manila again and I've always wanted to try out welding so I figured that I'd give it a go while I'm here (much more accessible and common here than in Vancouver). After searching for welding schools, I came across a posting on this forum about MFI where I'm planning on taking the MIG course next month. Looking forward to learning from all of you!
Hello erny,
Welcome to PHM DIYing community and enjoy your stay. Well there is also TESDA aside from MFI giving
courses in welding but I guess before taking Mig welding lessons, you have to enroll first and take SMAW,
that is stick welding, you'll need to learn and familiarize yourself with the basics of this process before anything
else.
Cheers and enjoy the site !! 😀 :bounce1:
