Hi everyone.
I just joined the forum. My apology for not introducing myself first before posting. I live in Aklan where the famous Boracay Island is.
I have the Vespa EY 23 air compressor for about 9 years. It is used mainly to pump air into the tires of my two vehicles (A Hilux and a Prado). Although I have it for such a long time, I have never changed the oil until a couple of days ago. You see, the instruction said I have to change it after 500 hours which I have not come close at all. But I believe time has degraded the oil.
Anyway, I am very happy to join this technical community which I hope I will be able to learn from all the pros. I also have a Yamato 300 Amp Genset which I have not used since my house has been completed.

My real interest is fishing. I build my own fishing rods. Rod blanks, guides, epoxies, threads are all imported. I have a simple lathe for building fishing rods. My other interest is airgunning. I have a collection of airguns; spring piston, gas piston and pcp which I tune myself to peak performance.
I very much like to learn to weld but have no courage to start. My Yamato 300 Amp stick welder has been sitting in my generator shed for a couple of years. I do not know whether rats have destroyed the internals. I will call someone to check and test it.
I have almost all types of power tools, acquired when I built my house. Most of the workers do not have their tools of trade and I have to rent or buy them, so I chose to buy. They come in handy when I do some maintenance work on the house, cars and motorbikes.

[COLOR="green"]COURAGE TO WELD !! well that is something we all have to deal with ! Oh that bulky yellow welder, I have that too and its really heavy. Better yet have someone to guide you to start you off with welding, I tell you you'd be glad to learn the skill.

[COLOR="green"]ASSORTED POWER TOOLS !! that's great, with these tool you have, you can probably start learning how to use them personally, perhaps for wood working projects or for metal working projects, either way, its very fulfilling being able to produce something tangible with your own sweat and patience.

very interesting hobby. i'm an avid angler myself. i use to frerquent the korean fishing rod factory inside SBMA before and was able to look at their production fishing rods. welcome to the forum bro. 🙂
