Re: Hello and welcome to PinoyHandyMan.com!

greetings! am certain i inherited my father`s interest in d-i-y works . . . anyway, he worked his way to
college, by doing any available jobs like peon, carpenter, plumber, latero, mason, etc.. . .reaching a
bureau assistant director position then migrating to US and retired as Auditor IV at LA County, bidding
farewell to us in 1991, he left us large collection of his branded tools, say, 1,200 ++ drill bits [most of
them came from US Army surplus during WW2, hammers [tack, ball, claw, etc ], elec drills [metal
casing ], saws[hand, back], thousands of screws/ nails, etc, etc, etc. that even some
engineers/contractors who saw his collections were wondering how did he able to collect them. . . .

ok, for my part, i know how to useoperate all the tools i inherited since elementary days with my
Tatay`s supervision, of course. I only do minor jobs at home during my free time and i`m very
elated when i finished one with satisfactory outcome, say, additional c.o. [elec. outlet], replacing
baseboards, replacing a busted water valve, making a study table copied from a magazine, etc . .
btw, i`m into medical profession . . . . 😀

Re: Hello and welcome to PinoyHandyMan.com!

hey guys! nomad here...got the invitation from tsikot, this (pinoyhandyman) looks good; i hope this grows into a huge DIY database covering various interests.

i do DIYs myself...started with electronics, PCs then to automotive (still newbie here). i never got into carpentry though my dad -- a physician by profession -- likes to do carpentry and did the entire kitchen of our house. ;D

I also have a 4x4 and have done some diy on it. But I'm not into the hard core stuff.
