I'm a newbie from Quezon City but has been a longtime handyman by necessity (expensive labor and contractor's cost) and by necessity (When you paid for a job to be done but they sorely failed in the outcome; so, you have to do redo it yourself).
My handyman career started when I studied in a technical high school and found it interesting.
I dabble in almost anything I can learn but I'm really having a hard time in masonry work more specifically plastering.
I have only the basic power tools (angle grinder, hammer drill, palm sander, jig saw & circular saw)
and the basic hand tools and wrenches but still saving for the necessary clamps and vises.
I intend to get started in welding so i can do needed repairs in our home
thanks you for this wonderful forum. :thanks:

Hello too jojiesal,
First of all WELCOME to the PHM community 🙂
Well anything one dabbles on anything and is really very interested, it becomes easily learned and for sure attainable, it just need the necessary patience and lots of practice.
Most noob DIYers started with basic hand tools and as his skills improve and gets better, so as his tools acquisitions with the additions of more hand tools and power tools so expect to be adding more of them whether for wood or metal or others to your arsenal in the future.
GOOD LUCK and enjoy your stay !!:studsmatta:
