G'day mates!
I'm Dennis, a pre-school administrator from Novaliches. I just recently got interested in DIY home repairs after we had our house renovated. The workers made their jobs look so easy to do, so after long periods of observation and rather intrusive interrogations, I ventured on to do by myself the smaller jobs that remained like painting and basic carpentry works. I have a next project, a rather humble condo unit that Im putting my life savings in, so I hope you guys forgive me if I post tons of questions in the next few days. The forums I have read here so far have been so helpful and I am astounded by the generosity in knowledge, experience and sympathy of the people here. 'Hoping someday I too will be able to share something worthwile. Thanks peeps, and have a great day!:thanks:

Re: Howdy! Dencio here 🙂
Welcome to PHM, Dencio!
Ganyan din ako nagsimula, sa panonood ng mga trabahador. Then later I figured some things can be DIYed, without shortcuts.
In the end we'll save money three ways:
1. no need to pay for labor
2. if you do it the right way, you minimize the chances of having to redo it
3. it keeps us busy, less expenditure on entertainment/recreation 😀
