Hi fellow DIYers. I just found this Pinoy DIY community this morning while searching for info about a repair work that i'm about to start on.

I'm a 54year old civil engineer from Antipolo City who is a true blue DIYer and a Jack-Of-All-Trades man by heart. I've been at it since I got hooked on woodworking during my grade school shop subject.

I consider myself a "weekend warrior" because it's the only time I have really to do things that I enjoy most, that is keeping my hands busy with anything that needs to be fixed or done. My wife once jokingly said that I should put "Caladryl" in my hands if it gets itchy instead of putting grease, paint, or whatever it is that i'm currently working on. I always look forward to a weekend because I can relax and do things that I enjoy.

I'm glad I found this community and will surely log in everyday!

Well, we are glad that you were able to chanced upon this site so WELCOME and hop on aboard the PHM diying community. Lots of information here to be learned and use in your DIY projects in the future.

HAHAHA, tell your wife she is very lucky having a husband and a man in the house who loves to do DIYing stuffs and repairs in/for the house !!! LOL 😀

Hi JayL and Rosy. Thanks for welcoming me to the community. I look forward to sharing my more than 40 years of hands on experience in DIYing.

Yup, wives with DIYing husbands are indeed very lucky. I told my daughters that i'll accept their would be suitors (potential husbands) if they past my test. They should be able to at least hold a hammer and drive a 4" nail in a block of wood. Anything less, won't get my nod.

I've read some of the newer discussion threads already and found them very very informative. I was surprised to learn that this web community has a large following. Now i'm hooked too!
