Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm an avid woodworker from California, now living here in the Philippines. Haven't really done anything (woodworking wise) since I arrived here three years ago, but I think it's about time for me to rekindle that old woodworking flame. I'm itching to work with wood again, it's in my veins! Well, I'll have to start from scratch because I left all my tools with my son in the United States. So today is the day I start my quest to build my shop here in the Philippines (that's if the rain will ever stop. LOL!) I hope to learn from everyone here, and share what wisdom I have to anyone who'll listen.

First of all WELCOME :welcome: to the forum, we are glad to have you on board :shake:. Well once a woodworker will always be a woodworker and more, hehehe! Are you located within the Metro Manila or somewhere in the provinces but just near Manila. Don't worry much about the rains, since its still monsoon season here in the country with more tropical typhoons to come but it will be over soon, we are already nearing the wonderful month of December, simply count it as a blessing for everyone that we still have rains to enjoy and have plenty of water for our dams.
Lots of woodworking tools available in Binondo, Ongpin area if you start shopping for your tools and we would love to see you post or share your finished wood projects too in the future. And might as well enjoy the wisdom or knowledge you might share with the rest of the woodworkers here and hope we can share somethings too for you. :2thumbsup:
