Welcome to the forum. yes combining/incorporating wood with metal on projects creates good results too.
What process in particular for welding do you have in mind. There are different processes to be used like stick (smaw), mig (gmaw), tig (gtaw) or oxyacetylene.

Hi bro rosy, just got a Kawasaki 215 Amp DC Inverter IGBT Welder.
Upgraded the electrode holder, ground clamp and cables to ESAB.
Also bought an ESAB AHD, the purchase was influenced by you 🙂 🙂 🙂
Phased out na raw yung Origo-Tech, Origo-Warrior na, yellow pa rin ang color.
Parang ayaw ko gamitin sa ganda, hahaha!
Now, I do hope to have lots of time to practice.

Is your unit the one with the Tig function or just the plain (stick) arc welder.
The ESAB ADH you got is a good choice, its a professional grade welding helmet and you will enjoy using it.
