Hello Arkinoe,

Welcome aboard the PHM community and do enjoy your stay. :shake:

Yes using wood pallets (palochina) would be nice to start a project, its cheap and would produce a nice finish
when properly prepped and varnished. Now where to start, start with a small project first that you think you
can easily assemble and work on, make plans and sketches of the project indicating the thickness, width,
length and height (overall dimensions), then when you are ready, buy your wood and the basic tools needed
to make the project a reality.

Familiarize yourself with the proper use of your tools, handheld tools or power tools and have more patience
with your first number of projects. Enjoy doing it and develop some passion and in no time woodworking
projects will be addicting specially when you see your progress and improvements in each wood project.

:2thumbsup::whistle:

Enjoy !!!!

, as to what project to make using pallets? you just need to look around your house (inside and outside) as to what is the item that you really need and simple enough to be made from pallet materials ... a simple A-table, a cage for your domestic animals, a simple bench, etc ... spend an hour or so just looking around your house and for sure you'll be able to have an idea of the right project that is needed in your house ...

just to give you an example, during the christmas holidays, i accidentally witness my neighbor's cat attack and ate one of the chick of our native chicken. in order to prevent it from happening again, i have to quickly make a cage for our chicken using scrap coco lumber that i have lying around in our house πŸ˜‰ ... i'll post it in a separate thread one of this days ... cheers

Boo!
