Hi. I just joined recently i am very hooked.

I have spent a lot of my time recently reading posts and looking at your pictures. I am lucky to have stumled at your forum since it is local, helpful and people are friendly.

I have done some small projects at home but nowhere near your standards. Now i have the inspirations and standards to look up to.

More power to the community.

I think this is my midlife crisis 🙂

HI Earl8,

I am also new here and I wish to extend a warm welcome to you. We all have inborn talents. In here, after so much reading, I've learned that we can hone them further.
Here's to a bagful of sawdust.

Hey Earl, Welcome to PHM, people here are mostly in midlife crisis as well on choosing techniques and tools (mostly tools :D). lots of people willing to help and even teach, just ask your question and as long as its not math, I can help. for Math I think theres Guad ;)... So I guess you're covered.

Hi Willy,

Thank you for the warm welcome. Yup i do believe we have in born talents different subject matters nga lang.

What i have realized in my small projects is that patience is somethng i should learn. It seems that the devil is in the detail. Sometimes i get to excited towards the finishng and i mess up the whole thing.

Hope to chat with you more willy.

Hi Timber,

I actually stumbled upon PHM through you. I was doing some google stuff then it linked me to TPC and i followed you there and I saw a link or i think you mentioned this site. Thank you very much.

I have seen and read about the first EB for 2011 and would have wanted to be there but am flying to kalibo aklan later to attend the ati aihan.

I am an IT guy by profession. I am a DIY person and am now addicted to going to mall hardwares, amazon, sulit and others looking for whatever. My first interaction with you was actually some days back when you told me that the "thing" is called dowel and to go to to suy to look for it.

I initially wanted to do wood carving but got hooked on woodwoking instead. I have actually downloaded a lot woodwhiperer of podcasts which i have learned a lot from and am still continuing to watch on my free time.

It is really nice to have this forum. I hope to slowly meet and hopefully be able to tour and see your shop and works.

Thank you and have fun on your EB.
