hello everyone,

i'm starting this hobby and planning to build cabinets for my house. good thing i found this site, hope to learn a lot from you guys. thanks very much.

Hi Violaine,

Thanks for the reply, i'm living in Gen. Luna Quezon now but originally grew up in Quezon City. I'm not familiar with exotic woods or how to distinguish one. I hope to start using plywood or mdf boards and laminates, think mas simple and medyo madaling gawin.

my wife is from quezon too! same route pero mas malayo ka. were from agdangan! uuwi kami sa october 1 baka sakaling magkita tyo. marami pa bang mga kahoy dyan sa gen luna?

Sorry for the late reply, lagi kasi nasa byahe. Lapit lang distansya natin. lagi ka ba umuuwi agdangan? Baka makauwi din ako 1st or 2nd week of October.

Kung kahoy, meron pa siguro. Pag inumpisahan ko mga project ko sa bahay, magtatanong ako. Planning to take at least 2 weeks leave in October to start working on my cabinets.

friday evening (oct 1) ang uwi namin, birthday ng lola... matagal ka na ba sa gen luna?

yung uncle ng misis ko, may ibibigay daw sa akin na travisa (old wooden railroad ties) baka may mapaggamitan ako. cguro makakahingi din ako ng iba pang scraps!

kita kita na lang when possible sir! kung nasa manila ka... pupuntahan ko yung woodmach sa oct 6-9.

Really great website for new comers and hobbyists. I do such type of building apart from my normal work which is australianwritings.com.au reliable so it is a really great hobby to have as you do some physical work.
