oh well not much for today woke up late
and here is my plan (this pic. barrow from metal-engravings.com)

my flat bar cut it into 2 pcs.20 inc. long and 2 pcs.15 inc. long

that's for today may pasok pa ako sa hapon to be continue hehehehe comics style

The angle indicaor will be very useful for repeatability. Watching now how you'll do it and the materials to be used. Planning to add one to my bender at a later time too.

OH yes this metal bender will definitly be one of my metal project in the near future. A must tool for welders and metal worker doing a lot of metal bending and fabrications, a very handy tool.

here is my update first need assemble my drill press and then start drill

first drill 4mm primary hole first

i made 8 holes

and then 12mm drill bits final drill

lots metal debris hehehe

Hey there sir ossie,

Oks lang ba kung ang gamitin kong materials for my bender ( to be made in the near future ) ay stainless steel so that it won't get rusted ever ? Will it have the same strength as the ordinary steel that you and Jay used ?

hi Rosy,
Jay is using forged metal from automotive parts which is the ideal metal to use. stainless metal is malutong and baka tumalsik during bending kapag naputol (wag naman sana) pero hindi ako sure ha? hehehe if you can get some defective automotive parts sa suking automotive shop mas maganda sir.

ohhh btw, what im talking here is the dowel ha? are you referring to the flat bars? if so, i think its much better to what we are using right now.

Anyway sir ossie, pag pumalpak ang mga stainless steel dowels e di bibilhin ko na lang yung lumang ehe (eje) ng truck na nakita ko sa junk shop plus the thick flat muelye na 1" ang kapal, siguro hanep sa tibay na mga yon ? ano sir ossie
