Re: Angle Grinder Jig...

haha natapos mo din sya, and painted with your favorite color (i guess) hehe

that will help you a lot cutting the metal with ease, much better and safer than cutting without your jig project.

more project to come bro.

Re: Angle Grinder Jig...

Thats Real coool clay.. you've mounting a 4 inch grinder right?

Is there any annoying vibration? does it have to be clamp down during actual use??

TIA. 🙂

Actually, that's a 9 inch 2200 watts angle grinder, but I only installed a 7 inch cutting disk to reduce vibration.. The grinder is screwed tightly on the jigs swing-arm..

Re: Angle Grinder Jig...

Nice job clayfigur, you've made cutting metal easier and faster. 😉

But I can't see how you attached or bolted that grinder to your jig, you have not shown or demonstrated how it worked, I just don't know if its my eyes ang malabo or the posted pics.:p

Nevertheless as long as its working for you and your happy with it then I'm also happy with your project, just don't forget your eye protection, ear muffs and hand gloves when cutting metal and continue posting your wips.

You see clay we " bakal boys " are hungry for WIPs concerning metal welding and metal fabrication. I'll have mine soon  hopefully.

I used the threads for the secondary handle as screw position.. I inserted 2 screws to make it stable... The guard is kinda small to cope with the splinters, so I use a 7inch disk instead of a 9 inch so that it would lessen the splinters..
