DIY Bicycle Brake

i promised my friend that im going to make one bike brake for him coz the last time i borrowed his sidecar to buy scrap metals at junk shop - it has no brake at all and really hard for me to use that bike without brake, and he always give me indian mango fresh from their santol tree este mango tree hehehe and also to test the Riland 200A DC welder.

ok here it is:

all were came from left over scrap metal except for the stainless bolts and nuts, and spring- not shown.

the swing arm:

hehe sorry didnt able to capture some pictures during the WIP coz my hands were dirty soaking and bathing the metal to oil 😀

if you want to make one, you can try to use this measurement for your reference.

i guessed its three to four times stronger compare with the model brake above 😀

With the added weight, more horsepower might be needed. 😀

Dumb mistakes will always be dumb mistakes, unless . . . . you learn from it, and then it will be learning experience.

napa-kaprimitive na ng preno na yan, pero napaka high-tech naman ng gamit mo, digital calipers

pa, tuwang tuwa tsak may-ari ng bike...

level up na ang welding prowess mo, hindi ka na newbie, expert kana...;)
