Hello guys..
I was just wondering if its ok to use an electrode holder as a ground clamp?

And if anyone have tried lotus drill bits? Any good? I got the m42 cobalt ones..

Re: Ground clamp

Bro, I suppose its ok as long as it is well insulated but the problem is its mouth opening or gap is somewhat limited though the contacts are thick copper. Are you saving yourself on spending for a proper and good quality ground clamp ? You might get confused which is which for your rod holder and for grounding purposes. Just a reminder friend !!

For your next question, I think its good enough, just keep it sharp always when slowly drilling holes. 😉

Re: Ground clamp

Nareremedyuhan ko po yung maliit na pagbuka nung holder gamit ang copper wire na makapal na iikot lang sa workpiece tpos dun ku iipit yung holder to act as ground clamp.. wala kasi ako mahanap na magandang clamp dito eh
Anyways thanks!
