I'm planning on using this to refinish a mountain bike...
@ spyghost, i'm also interested about how good is this 2-part epoxy paint as i will have a lot of GI pipe railings that i need to install at the roof deck. i checked the URL you posted and one thing i noted is about the application method by spray ... in most website i visited about paints, almost all of them just mentions "spray" without elaborating whether you can use a normal air compressor for spraying or you need to use the more expensive and hard to find, airless spray system ... since this is an enamel based paint, i assume that you can use a normal air compressor for spraying it. is this a correct assumption? ... cheers
Boo!
i had my luck spraying with a normal compressor. the bike sissy bar that i sprayed on was rusty. now, to combat that rust, i did used cup brass brush with angle grinder. after that, i just applied a rust converter. after that, i sprayed the color epoxy. i didn't use an epoxy primer. the paint still holds today
thanks for the info ... cheers
