familiar ba kayo sa laser metal cutting machine?

continuous kasi ang pag cut namin ng mga metals. gamit namin yung oxygen+acetylene/LPG combo. inaabot kami more than 10k sa gastos namin sa oxygen.

merong inaalok sa akin na laser cutting machine. no need for oxygen and acetylene. de kuryente lang at kailangan lang i-connect sa 10hp na compressor. sabi nila brand new is 250k, binebenta sa amin ng 50k na lang dahil nagsara ang shop nya. okay kaya ito? i forgot the brand.

We need to know the Machine Model and Brand. If I was to buy the tool this would be the info I would want to know first. Looks like a Plasma Cutter.

Do you have an existing air compressor to supply it with air?

mukhang plasma cutter nga. laser kasi ang sabi sa akin. my bad hehe

after doing research about plasma cutters, mukhang mahal ang benta sa akin. brand new is around 50k for a 16mm capacity plasma cutter. yung binebenta sa akin is up to 20mm. yung compressor namin yung ginagamit namin sa spray paint. sabi its not enough. dapat nasa 10hp. totoo ba?

mas makakatipid ba ako in the long run kung mag plasma ako? continuous ang cutting namin pero bihira lang naman ang bakal namin na umaabot ng 1inch ang kapal.

mukhang hindi ko na bibilhin yung binebenta sakin. bili na lang ako ng brand new.

yung brand na binebenta sa akin is Glory, subsidiary daw sya ng Miller. P250k daw brand new, up to 20mm daw kaya i-cut. good buy?

ok bang brand yung Powercraft? brand new is 30-60k.

i didnt find any glory searching the internet with the brand re: glory sub of miller hehe 🙂 can you send us the link if you have? and if you can also post some actual pics of it, pls do.

dont trust the seller unless you know him so well, sometimes they are using world known brand just to sell their item. the price is not a joke so you better research more and dont rush yourself buying.

mukhang pass ako sa offer nya, bili na lang ako ng brand new at least sure pa at may warranty.

may mga alam ba kayong nagba-buy and sell ng scrap metals na gumagamit ng plasma metal cutter? kung wala, sa tingin nyo suitable kaya ito sa ganung business?

You have to weigh in several things for this investment. W/c is more economical, buying consumable tips and electric bills for the plasma or Lpg /acetylene refills w/ your current setup? PLASMA may speed up your cutting process but is it enough to sustain your business cost more so increase your profit? Although it is a lesser fire risk than LPG's etc. They also need to operate on a specific pressure so get a compressor rating that matches your cycle use.

brand new costs 30-50k plus 10k for 10hp compressor. yearly kasi sa tingin ko aabot ng 100-150k ang gagastusin kung continuous ang pag cut namin ng mga metals. if plasma cutter+10 hp compressor ang gagamitin hindi naman siguro dadagdag ng 5k ang electrice bill kaya naisip ko ang ganitong setup. plus, maganda pa ang cutting nya, pwede kong gamitin if ever may gusto akong i-fabricate.

10K for a 10 HP compressor ..... that's really a bargain.

I'm currently checking an Ingersol Rand 3 HP compressor w/ 10.3 CFM @ 135psi and I'm expecting a min landed cost of around 40K already ( brand new ). I reckon 10 Hp will cost more even if it's a second hand unit. Probably 80 - 100K+ in my limited knowledge of second hand locally available air compressor prices.

AFAIK, Glory is made in Taiwan (Taiwan Plasma Machine) meron supplier dito sa Pinas nitong brand na ito including the consumables. Medyo may kamahalan nga price nya na benebenta sayo...mostly sa mga scrap metal cutting business Oxy-LPG ginagamit...mahal kasi Ace...

if gagamitin mo ito sa medyo makakpal na materiales baka talunin ka naman sa consumables like electrode, tip, ceramic shield..etc...

much better siguro mag Oxy-pLPG ka na lang then use good brand of cutting torch tapos lagyan mo sya flashback arrector para safe. HTH
