metal working table

here is another WIP and i need this for my metal work .The size of metal table is 2 x 4 feet

4 pcs. of 30 inc. long for the legs of table

here is 12 feet 2x2 square tube and cut 45 deg. V cut. 2 feet 4feet 2 feet and 4 feet distance of cutting

check the 90 deg. and alignment before spot weld first

after spot weld remove all clamp and support

and then check again the alignment

more clamping and support for full weld to make it sure that the frame wont twist during full welding because of heat

and then at the back for full weld

now I'm done for the frame of my table tomorrow for the legs naman hehehe to be continue :p

Bro CN ano plano mo para sa table top?

Do you think the same technique of angle bends will work well with thicker walled square tubes?

Do you think the same technique of angle bends will work well with thicker walled square tubes?

i will use GI sheet gauge 18 on the top of the table but i will add more 2 x 2 square tube at the center of the table . I think it will work naman siguro hehehe sana matapos ko agad

here is my 2nd day working with my table.....wake up in the morning @ 6am and end up @ 9am without breakfast hehehe morning exercise
prepare for spot weld on legs

using F clamp

checking the alignment and make it square

add more clamp

ready for spot weld

spot weld done every corner

after all done in spot weld remove other clamp and change the position of the clamp

now the lower portion using 1 x 2 square tube and clamp at both side

remove all clamp and here it is my 3hrs morning working exercise hehehe 😉 to be continue:p

not much work for today very busy pa rin sa company
just update only hehehe
here something to add......additional 2 x 2 square tube and 2 x 3 square tube
sorry for out of focus hehehe

later apply rust converter and paint epoxy primer and paint black enamel before i place a GI sheet #18

here are photos from welding world site..id like to have a welding table fashioned to something like this.

yesterday i switched on my welder a bit just to try the welding helmet with ADF..results were promising and later today because of utter excitement i bought some angle bars (1 1/2 x 3/16, 10mm square bars and a piece of 1 x 3/16 flat bar):
Price: angle bar (354p/pc), square bar (250p/pc), flat bar (100p/pc)
ready to ramble tomorrow.will take pics to post.
