So I guess what you are telling us is that these metals are good scrap metals (rejected metals), or those rusted scrap metals ??

There are also two big scrap yards further up in Sumulong highway, I thinks its MBQ Metals owned by two brothers that sells at 35.00/ kg.

yup good scrap or rejected. good for praktis praktis hehehe but otherwise i can see myself using the stuff for some projects.i wanted to walk into each and every one of the junk shops going up Cogeo but i was lazy. i did find an old tire rim that i can use as a base for my bench vise.

i also scoured the Sumulong highway area and spotted the mbq store. will walk in the next time. 🙂

Do these suppliers have cold rolled steel in 1/4" thick 4 or 5" wide sizes? I only saw cold rolled sheets in advertisements. I wonder if they sell flatbar-like CRS.

I just bought angle bars here in Lamuan, Marikina at P35 per kilo. I'm not sure if its cheaper or not buying by the weight instead of by the piece.

The Php35.00 price per kilo is fair enough, junk shops here in our area sells the same price, whether rusted or not so rusted metals. Actually its cheaper buying from junk shops, you can buy any length you will need/use, unlike in standard hardware stores where they always sell metals at full length of 20ft, always.

Kaya lang metals coming from junk shops, you will have to do some cleaning or de-rusting.

Lamuan ba yan sa Marikina? If you are referring to Al Metal shop, maayos na 2nd hand bakal dyan. Dyan ako bumibili when I visit Marikina. Meron ding naman brand new.

Mostly end cuttings min 3ft up to about 6 ft. May flat, angled, korteng Z for steel casement, korteng T for steel casement, bars, pipes. May mga accs din sila.
