Got chance to clean up the flat metal bars

and cut these to size ( 12" )

These are not as straight and flat as I want it to be but I'll see if I can fix it up a bit later

I imagine custom made car brackets in different shapes and sizes at half the time it use to make these plus more "pulido". Thanks Ossie ... the cost of this bender really makes it very attractive to build.

I can't drill till I find the dowels I want to use. How long are you dowels?

I'll check these scraps for right size and hardness and if I have enough mterial. Pwede bang iba ibang size yun diameter ng dowels?

By the way I'm planning to replace the stock Bosch chop saw blade to thin kerf. Looks like 1/8" is installed now. I'll see if I can find 3/32 abrasive wheels. It will ease the motor a bit and less metal dust too.

yes, you can use different diameter size of dowels. hardened metal is preferred para hindi bumaluktot yung dowel hehe

really? i thought its the only standard thickness size for abrasive wheel? waahh i bought pa naman 3 pcs as spare for Php180 each, dito sa amin kasi around Php230-250 eh

What brand abrasive wheels did you buy?

As you can see the dowels I plan to use are not all the same size. The ones from the shock absorbers have larger diameter. Do you suggest to use these in the front?

Bosch na din yung binili kong abrasive wheel.

much better, use the larger diameter sa center, yung nag jo-join between frame assy and handle assy since nasa kanya kasi ang pressure dahil sa kanya binebend ang metal.

It will need straight angle bars. Probably new and thick gauged.
