Re: Welding Newbie

We know how you feel really...
I was mad as hell also when i bought an industrial type stand fan for home use just so it would last long, that 3D fan I bought was more expensive than other brands of the same category, but because of my belief that its got more than 30 years of manufacturing, even when the wife said it was costly, I BOUGHT IT.
It died after 5 months use. So I wrote a strong letter to the company.
They replaced the entire motor. Thats it. ....pero yun abala nakakainis.

Re: Welding Newbie

Thank bro I will be needing both or just the electrodes and ground. What do you think.

If the power cord is long enough then you can get away with it.

My Ground Cable is 4m long and Electrode cable is 5m long. I purchased Fuji 1/0 welding cable because it's rubberized.

For the welding cord I bought Phelps Dodge brand No. 10 shielded ( 2 wires inside only )

Millermatic 180 Autoset Mig Welder
Miller Spoolmate 100 Spool Gun
Victor Firepower 350 Oxy Ace Outfit
3M Speedglas 9002X AD Helmet
Makita LC1230 Dry Cut Saw
Ingersoll Rand Air Tools
Snap On Tools
Metabo Power Tools
Norseman Drill Cutting Tools
Bosch Power Tools
3M PPS

Re: Welding Newbie

yes bro, its a switch problem, the pin on the rocking switch slipped. naka rimatse lang kasi, then nirepair na lang. at pinaayos ko pa ulit pagkaka rimatse para hindi na maulit muli (sana), wala silang stock parts ng switch kasi. 🙂

That's good.

A motor problem would have made me worried too but seems not the case so I'm happy as well.

Re: Welding Newbie

was talking to Golden after having the chopsaw repaired. Would you want the switch replaced? I too was told the full story during the time you brought the chopsaw for repair. I also informed Golden about the rust in the hold down screw in your saw...

click my signature and it will take you there........
