thanks guys, still just a newbie and hope to inspire diy'ers here hehe

as requested. this is just brushed with engine oil when still hot, i welded it again to heat the metal 😀 coz i have no acetylene to use like you 🙂 my main reason i did this is to make the metal absorbs the oil, from that it will not accumulate rust or will stand against rust for long time. i dont know if this make sense to you. but some says to make the metal harder.

the bender's looks after the oil bath 1 week ago. the picture was captured this morning.
