If you have a US address then you could get a FREE sample LENOX T2 Blade.

Just go over their demos and in the last tab it will offer a free sample blade. Make sure to go over the demos or it will not offer the sample.

@jay,
i also experienced what you have experienced cutting of metal (sliding) using Bosch Chop Saw.

i usually cut the metal on the very end of the metal bar to prevent it from sliding and a slight pressure is only needed in cutting as much as possible. 🙂

Yes you are right on the entry point. Either use a block of wood or something to find a slanting blade entry. If the blade cut on the flat side then it will bind or slide. No sparks mean the blade is being consumed without cutting on the metal.

If you cut that flat bar vertically then the blade has a tendency to deflect during the cut and result in a slightly slanted cut ( not straight ).

We need to try other abrasive blade brands to find the best performance. Both the thin kerf 3/32 and the standard 1/8.

HI sir ossie, with regards to the FUJIMATSU welders no we were not able to test it because they dont have yet the spool and mig wires
specially for the smaller mig, plus it was almost closing time.

Talked to the manager and told me to just give them a call from time
to time para malaman if they have already the spool and mig wires.
Also another info is that their mig welders does not need any
conversions, they are all DC's.

They also sell ADH helmets, kaya lang medyo mataas presyo, 6K +:eek:

Any way astig ADH helmet mo sir, nakakainggit, sana magkaron din
ako nyan pag nakabili nako ng mig welder, sarap sigurong gamitin yan.

I need a handle for the bender. Puro from junk na lahat ang parts. I think this donor front shock absorber can give a shaft.

22mm lang pero sigurado matigas ito.

almost all new welders are now DC. Good thing that they will allow you to test the welder. you can also try other brand to feel what fits you and to test their performance. nothing to loose, only your time 🙂

maganda talaga sir naka ADH, kasi minsan talaga di naiiwasan yung biglaang pagdikit ng rod sa metal na hindi ka handa, panandaliang pagkalabo ng mata malamang 😀

the Bosch disc i bought from Bosch Service Center was smooth and fine in cutting metal compare to small disc below i used for several years.

downside: using only hard paper center ring

but this is much smoother and finer of course - 3M aluminum oxide disc
