Are these practice weld applications on some angle bars or some metal ??

And why did you use a 6011 rod for surface welding ?, why not a 6013 rod, usually 6011 electrodes are for root passes because of its deep penetrating characteristic plus its difficult to produce decent welds on this type of rod.

Do you guys know any person or shop that accepts zinc welding in Quezon City preferably Novaliches and Fairview are? My airsoft gearbox broke and need to be fixed. Please advise. Tia

Thanks for the response. Airsoft Gearbox and other parts are usually made of zinc alloy. I just don't know the ratio of zinc to alloy.

At this day and age you'd be lucky to get an original branded equipment w/o encountering it's Chaiwanese counterpart. Fuji, like it's contemporaries, is a known brand but at todays supply lines I have seen most are made or processed and assembled in China. This brings us to the question of reliability considering it's recent changes. The metal boys here at PHM have given their personal take on the various brands they were able to test first hand and their supplier's warranty as well. If the vendor can give the kind of warranty that should come with unit then only thing that keeps you from buying it is a test run on feature and performance. Hope this helps.:)

Hey bro Andrew28,

Just curious lang, is it Fuji or Fujihama, the light apple green colored portable welder. I cannot say really much regarding this welder but according to my friend who owns this Fujihama for quite sometime, OK din naman daw, kaya lang its good for light use only, the OC warning light easily lits up upon prolong use( continuous use).

I've seen a number of this kind of welder here in our place displayed in chinese owned hardware stores, also in Antipolo and Cainta. If you are interested in such welder, hope you get a good after sales service and long warranty for it.

I purchased the kit in the US quite sometime ago. I was not able to use it well because I could not find the Oxygen locally ( the Mapp gas is readily available ). Today while at HMR I found a lot of Bernzomatic Oxygen. I doubt that those will move quickly so I just purchased one first to make sure the canisters are not empty.

I just saw in HMR Pioneer this oxygen tank. It cost around P130. I believe theres 3 in there earlier after coming from your place. I was the one who bought your drill press.
