howst going so far with the welder Sir?. mukhang mapapa order din ata ako kay Bro Joey81.
The Alpha Tig machine is great but wasn't really able to practice with it since the gloves I was using were for stick welding, so thick and stiff to move the filler rods with my thumb.
Well other needed items ordered from amazon arrived a few days ago so I guess its gonna be practice time again very soon .
With regards to ordering, just give joey81 a private message and see if he can accommodate your request.
Cheers and good luck !! 😉

Thanks for the inputs sir...Congrats for your new toy...
Thank you sir rosy.. 🙂 looking forward more on this thread.
Sir Rosy.....I have a question for you about this welding machine....mainly because I am not an electrician!
I was considering buying this machine to use in Central Luzon - NEECO electric.
The electricity provided is a 2-wire feed from the transformer.
1 wire has 230v ac, and the other wire is the "messenger", or ground(?).
Is that the electrical configuration that you have for your AHP Alpha-TIG 200X welder?
I understand that there are some places in the Philippines that have the same configuration as US electric - that would be 3 wires coming from the transformer.....2 - 110v, and 1 (neutral) ground.
That will give 220v.
The main breaker panel, and appliances/equipments are designed to work with that configuration.
Your help is appreciated!
Thank You!
Hi there Paul_S,
I'll be answering only to what I know, I live in Metro Mla. and electricity is supplied by Meralco, for all I know
each household is supplied with 2 wires, one positive and one negative and runs on a 230V and I believe that is
how it is for the rest of the country, each household outlets have only two gangs and no wire for grounds unless
otherwise depending on the available plug and sockets needed.
The AHP Alpha Tig 200X is capable of 230V and 110V. For the 110 volts, it is provided with a pig tail socket mainly
for 110 volts usage, that is like in the US or other European countries where they have only 110 volts. Most if not all,
Asian countries run on 220V to 250V, so much so with the Philippines. This Tig welder will have no issues considering
the fact that it is already equipped with a 220V wire and plug. :cool01:
If ever you decide on purchasing this Tig machine, you will have to buy a new socket( receptacle ) to fit the built-in plug,
same way I did, bought a female pin type receptacle, 50A - 250V at amazon.com or any electrical shop in the states,
then just simply do some re-wiring for the new receptacle.
Hope this helps.
CHEERS and good day.

Sir rosy,
Thank You for the answers!
Right now, this particular machine is on my "possible list" as it is easily obtainable here where we are right now.
It would be easy to check it out and make sure it functions properly - if not, Amazon will accept a return, including shipping, for a replacement machine.
Yes, other good choices can be found in Manila.
We will see.....!!
Please Have A Great Day!
Paul

ganda ng reviews sa AHP sir Rosy is AHP made by Riland? look it up sa amazon @680usd it's a good price for a ac/dc welder 🙂
Hi bro makikulit,
Nope, AHP welders are not made by Riland. I think its made by the makers of Everlast or Longevity welding equipment,
yet I'm not sure and still doing some searching on its manufacturer in the net. :dunno: But for sure its a China made brand.

I hope its not Longevity... I saw a negative feedback of that brand on some internet forum.
Well I just hope its not from Longevity. Yes I have also seen lots of negative feedback and complaints by new buyers
regarding this Longevity welding equipment marketed in the USA, But then I can't really say much since I have not
used nor purchase any of their machines.
So still searching for the manufacturer of this AHP Alpha Tig 200X.
