Could have included these in the Metal Consumables thread but decided to make a separate one. Reason is so we can all learn the proper techniques and use of these fine metal cutting tools.
Am just starting to research and will post some more info later. Please share your thoughts, experience or knowledge on this subject.

what sort of job can we employ these expensive garr tool carbide burrs?

I use a two flute spiral Garr solid carbide 8mm... does extrra service with my router for the leigh jig... cuts very clean :dance1::dance1:

Yes bro. I will use either an electric or air powered die grinder for this at around 22,000 rpm. These carbide burrs operate best at their max rated rpm.
The shank is 1/4". I will use the burrs to dress up welds when I build my welding cart.
I also purchased some Pferd double cut burrs from amazon. Panda does not sell double cut burrs.
Probably later I'll get some 1/8" shank burrs for the Dremel too.
Sometimes the pictures are not correct so you have to double check with the manufacturers' site.
Most commonly used ones are the Tree and Flame Shapes.
