With regards to the vibration of your grinder, what sort of vibration are you getting?

Coz in my case, my 4" and 4 1/2" small grinders vibrations are not noticeable, and even the B & D 5" grinder, wala naman akong na fe feel. But of course I 'll expect it on the larger grinders specially the 9" grinder since its disc's rotation is already wider and much faster.

Yes I know, its 1/2" thick and weighs 45 kgs @, I say each because I bought 3 panels for the table top.
Each panel measures .50m more or less by 100.3 m flat.

Enough for me to feel it in my arms after a grinding job. I noticed I did not have that feeling when using Bosch disc.

Also when the grinder is going to a stop you can notice some vibration.

It's reloaded on a Dewalt grinder now. Tomorrow I will try it.

I believe the 7" Bosch or Makita sells for a good price now a days.

The Tyrolit disc vibrates too much for my liking. I have tried it on a Bosch and a Dewalt grinder and still the same results. Likewise I feel the disc is too hard that it bounces off the metal. For now I will keep it for backup purposes. Your results may vary.

The most balanced angle grinder I have is this 4 1/2" US model Makita. The slightly bigger sized disc is also a better choice. Too bad that 4" is the norm here. The 4 1/2" size is superior.

I found an excellent use for the Tyrolit disk. It is very good when using the disc edges since it is hard and somewhat thicker.

I noticed that some discs for angle grinders have an expiry date, but not all. Something to do with resin bonded discs.

Looking at just the Bosch discs, and just the 4", there does not seem to be an obvious pattern:

Grinding:
3 mm woven for stainless steel - NO expiry date
6 mm nonwoven - HAS expiry date

Cutting:
1.0 mm woven for metal - HAS expiry date
1.2 mm woven for metal - HAS expiry date
2.5 mm woven for masonry - NO expiry date
2.5 mm woven for metal - NO expiry date

Which leads to the general question -- if there is no expiry date, is it because the disc really does not deteriorate over time, or because the manufacturer has neglected (or intentionally chosen not) to disclose the expiry date.
