Well this is what I got, the 250 amp mig. Bought the machine from a seller in OLX.
Tested the machine using CO2, OK na rin but would prefer using the mix gas for smoother and nicer weld beads/puddle.

Just waiting for my mix shielding gas and some spool wires to arrive plus other accessories.

I'll post pics when all accessories are complete. Can't wait to do practice welding with this
mig welder.
:chopper:

Anyway here is a video of the machine :

Purchased the Cigweld 250 mig at a very reasonable price of 22K.
Its a surplus machine but looks almost brand new. Yes its a heavy duty
mig machine that can weld with shielding gas or CO2 or can do fluxcore
welding.
:2thumbsup::whistle:

The former owner sold it because it was too much for his purpose since he was
only welding square tubing of 1mm thickness for his furniture business.

OK din naman siguro yung 135 amps, but good only for thinner surface materials.
Has limitations when it comes to thickness of materials to be welded.

For fluxcore lang ba sya or can it also be used with mixed gas ?:attack:

it's capable of gas but i'm too cheap so i'm using only fluxcore 😀 but it does serve my needs for now. emphasis on "for now" 😀

Thanks for the reply bro Velocitor.

But why did you settle with the 135 amps and not the 150 amps mig welder,
at least it has a higher welding capacity ? Hope you don't mind me asking.

coz the 135 popped up for sale near me 😀

which is OK since i usually have the voltage dial on #1 or #2 (it goes to #4). i usually weld thin materials only. my current project is a DIY electric motorcycle so i only deal w/ 2mm thicknesses

i'd love to have gas but i just paid for a new car so i think i'll be stuck w/ fluxcore for quite a while 😀

A bit of delay in posting these pics, almost forgot about sharing the pics and with the

She is now ready for battle.
