This is the power supply cable that does not have an electric plug. I suppose the purpose of this is to play safe on what kind or type a buyer will attach at its end, depending on the kind of outlets or sockets are used in their area.

Well, here are what I got from the box aside from the unit itself.

A large sticker on the welder for users. Notifications and reminders on its up keep and how to use the machine properly.

A shoulder bag freebie and the Owner's Manual.

And the two heavy duty cables with their corresponding heavy duty electrode holder and very nice ground clamp.

Here's the complete set up of the unit without the electrical plug.

Bro Heric provided me with a free 15 amp plug but when I tried it on my welding socket, the ground prong would not fit so..............

Got this from True Value, its a 20 amp heavy duty plug that fits perfectly in my welding electrical socket.

And just for size comparison with my existing YAMATO 200 DC Inverter.
Nothing so far against the Yamato welder, it is still working fine and smoothly this past days and still enjoying its quality.

From this photo, one can see the very difference in size of the power supply cable, the Yamato vis a vis the HiTronic.

This HiTronic machine is one of the Five major products of Shenzhen Riland Industry Co. Ltd, known for RILAND, RILON, T&R, and GOOD in other parts of the world. This particular weld machine, the HiTronic Arc 300 is a single phase machine and has an actual size of 40.8 x 20.3 x 31.5 centimeters and has a weight of 17.5 KG.

With a 50/60 Hz, perfect for our frequency. With regards to duty cycle, its 100% (A/V) ability to work at 231/29.3 and its 60% (A/V) ability to work at 300/32. Has a Digital display and an Arc force knob as well for current arc. The lead cable and ground cable are 3 meters in length each with good quality, heavy duty electrode holder and a ground clamp. It comes with a one year warranty from the supplier as well.

OK, for the benefits of the metal working enthusiasts, I'm undressing the welder to see its innards, the interior parts so we may all be educated/informed. I don't usually do this to a new unit but anyway nothing will be touched or changed so I guess this will not affect the agreed 1 year warranty of the unit. I had time over the weekend to unscrew the shell, be amazed with the innards, took several pics and then attached the 20 amp OMNI brand heavy duty plug.

HERE GOES :

Took off the shell of the unit and their it is guys, the Right side and the Left side of the welder. Truly very much different from the 200 amps YAMATO. Just look at those IGBT transistors. :2thumbsup:

Well this is just at the back end of the positive socket where the ground cable is inserted. An indication for a 300 amp welder etched on the brass block. :obvious:

Well, its the plug installation and getting ready for the weld applications.

I guess the next postings will be the different usage of welding electrodes and with the application of the "ARC FORCE". This will be quite interesting ! :superman:

Well bro JayL, I suppose it will really be a clean built DC Inverter, its also made by Riland Industry Co., LTD. Almost the same innards of bro Ossie's Riland, only this one is larger and with more IGBT transistors. :banana1:

Likewise here bro quarxdmz, have been reading infos from Lincoln Electric and Miller in the internet concerning the usage of the "arc force". Usually this "arc force" knob is included in 250 and 300 amps stick welders, really very interesting when it comes to its usage/applications.

I'll be explaining it later in the coming posts as I do the reviews on the welding applications.

HEHEHE, magseselos ?? LOL, I don't think so, I will still be using the YAMATO from time to time when it is needed for light metal projects. Actually its the Yamato AC welder that is now just gathering some dust and cobwebs inside my tool room. I just enjoy and love using the DC Inverter welders, much much better than the AC Yamato. :agree:

Actually I've been very busy with this new inverter welder this past days, preparing the materials I will be using for the actual weld applications and reviews. 😉
