Damn, still having those "worm holes", I know these usually occurs on E6013 rods and not on the E7024 rods specially when you don't do any weld manipulation, you just drag the rod slowly from left to right.

And the last, the E6013 welding electrodes, using again different amperage settings, like 120 amp, 140 amp and then 130 amp and 150 amp.

Like I said in the beginning, initial weld beads were bad but as I went on with the applications, weld beads were turning out favorably the way it should be. Checking and learning from probably mistakes in the applications, perhaps yes or perhaps no or whatever. So surprising that I don't see any "worm holes" created by this rods. Weld manipulations were done simply with just from side to side movement. 😉

Its very nice to see good weld beads, seems on these applications with E6013 rods, I got the correct rod angle and have controlled my hand and arm movement. :groupwave:

Next will be if I can do some vertical open root pass on some square bars or thicker metal plates.

Hi sir..hehe sakit na talaga ng 6013 yan..ang ginagawa ko sa start up para hindi magkaron ng "worm hole" pinupuno ko muna yung umpisa ng weld mga full 2 seconds bago ko ilakad ang welding rod..nakakatulong din kung mababa ang angle ng welding rod para maitulak nya yung slag..pansin ko lang kasi kaya nag kakaron ng worm hole dahil sa slag na na trap sa weld puddle..dati problema ko rin yan eh..:p

Yes bro bugel, thanks for the tip but with the E7024 rod, I was not expecting this coz I have been doing this for other metal projects and have done well without the "worm holes".

And it was so surprising that the last exercise with the E6013 rods used, no "worm holes" were created wherein yes I was expecting to get one or more "worm holes".

HEHE, thats the second YouTube video of HiTronic inverter machines I've seen, the first one is the plasma cutter inverter cut 60 being used, cutting large thick plates. Just not sure if its a local video or uploaded by someone from India.

Anyway going back to the short video, nakaka bitin kasi maigse ang video. Wow and the guy doing the demo seems not to know what amperage to use and keeps turning the two knobs for ampere settings and arc force. What welding electrode was he using to apply the arc force.
I am not bashing the good intentions of the video but you should have let the guy be in proper protective attire before doing the demo for his safety.

I do think it can be used for cutting on metals to be repaired, its just that ends or edges
cut by a welding rod doesn't look good, appears very rough and sometimes with sharp edges.

Its a 300 ampere welder so I thinks its capable.

Thanks po sir rosy, ipon mode muna para dito sa hitronics. Actually yamato dc inverter 200 amps sana choice ko dahil maliit lng. Kaso yung duty cycle mababa. Medyo bitin ang 200 amps. Baka panay hinto lng mangyari. So i decided na go nako for this hitronics 300 amps inverter. May discount po ba kaya kay goldpeaktools pag phm member?
