Nice observation Paul you got me curious as well.. I'm at work so had to call my wife to look at the owners manual. No mention of that receptacle from the owners manual but the label says "AC 36V"... I'm thinking its for some type of gas regulator. What do you think?

Mmm...possible about the gas setup....maybe it's for a 36v ac motor....like maybe a motor that runs the wire feeder??
36v ac motors are common..even in some golf carts (with very expensive supporting electronics to make use of a battery).
Looking forward to your testing of your new welding machine!!
Paul

Data from goldpeak has some errors. Here's the correct specs per user manual.

Had to change the roller guide from 1.0mm (factory) to 0.8mm
Got stuck with this for half a day! The nut on the roller guide is somehow stuck to the shaft of the wire feed motor.
Shaft move along the nut every time I loosen it. As much as possible I don't want to force anything as I might damage or scratch something..

Decided to buy a vise grip with the right size to fit. Binalutan ko na lng electrical tape para hindi magasgas ung roller guide.
Then grip it tightly to the roller guide to hold it steady so that I can loosen the nut.

After almost half a day I was able to change the roller guide to 0.8mm
And insert the 0.8mm mig wire.

Upon further analysis... From the specs the output voltage says 16.5V to 26.5V so I'm thinking that a 0 value of the knob is not zero but 16.5 and will increment by 1 and will reach max at knob value 10 equal to 26.5V
Same goes with the wire speed.. The specs says 2.5 to 13 meters per minute so this means that knob 0 is not zero but 2.5.

More practice welding to come!

Arcoweld cost me 7350. 6500 deposit + 850 for the content (free delivery). Caloocan Gas Corp SJDM Bulacan branch is just 3kms from my place.
Sobrang bigat pala nitong arcoweld around 100 kilos yata!

Is it shop or showroom? Ang ganda, naka-tiles pa! Hindi ba nasisira dahil bagsak ng welding slug?

The place was suppose to be a party venue... Its one of the reason I got into woodworking because I decided that I will DIY the cabinets, wine bars, etc of this place. But fortunately or unfortunately I got into wood and metal work and the place I'm using got smaller and smaller due to the tools I accumulated over time so I eventually decided to make the party place my workshop.:groupwave: Medyo hindi naman halata ung welding slug na bumabagsak sa tiles kasi medyo dark ung kulay nung tiles.
