Hi Guys,

Good day to you again! may I seek your advise once more if you can give me suggestions on where to buy my metal working tools. I already got myself a Yamato 300 Amp DC Inverter Type Welder but I know I'm far from a complete set up. I'm planning to buy a chop saw and some welding supplies. I'm from Batangas and it will save me tons of time if you can share to me such information. Marami salamat po at mabuhay ang Pinoyhandyman.. =)

you can go to Panda Construction Supply in Dasmarinas Binondo....kung me car ka, you pass thru Jones bridge, then right turn agad sa eskenita right after the Chinese-Filipino Arch pagbaba ng tulay...diretso diretso until left turn na lahat ng traffic, then another left turn, Dasmarinas street na yun...go ahead, then at the intersection, me parking lot...park ka dun....walk ka nalang...Panda na..they sell welding helmets, clamps, safety accessories, ear muffs,...

siyempre, pag metal works, need mo din, spray painting outfit and tools...mas madugo sa gastos! LOL...

good luck on your tool hunt!

Hi there figgarho,

Since you are from Batangas, try to check mall hardware stores in your area or
DIY Shop store if there's any or as usual you can go to Manila and checkout home depots
or industrial shops in Binondo area. When heading to Manila, make a list of the tools you intend to purchase and be ready with your cash.

Metal working tools are not that cheap either so buy wisely at pa unti unti ang pag acquire, then ipon muli for the next purchase.

Good luck !! ;):p

Re: Metal Working Tools - Where to buy at a good price?

Hi Sir Rosy and Sir Violaine,

Thank you for your reply and suggestion. I've already checked our local hardware and tool shops here and they are a bit expensive. Like 30% more. I was wondering if you can suggest a store where I can buy stuff like the one that you helped me out on the other thread. The Yamato 300Amp Inverter Type welder is very good according to my guys here and I was able to buy it on a very reasonable price thanks to the information that you gave me.

I will try to look for Panda Construction Supply soon when i travel back to Manila. =)

Hey bro figgarho,

Since you are the first PHM member who has that new YAMATO 300 amp DC Inverter welder, can you by any chance give or share a review of the unit in another thread. Purpose is for the benefit of other members who may want the welder in the future.

I do believe the 300 amp DC Inverter is way more heavy duty than the 200 amp Inverter welder which a lot of members here are using.
Hope you could give it some time for the review. 🙂 😉

THANKS !!
