ilang watts per channel ba yan power amp mo? sure kaba na welder yan? baka me microwave din sa loob yan! :p

buti pa yan handcarry lang..yung welder ko...trenta kilos yata buti me gulong...

in simple terms, anu ba difference nyang DC welder mo sa arc welder na biggie?

yang bang DC welder mo ok lang i plug sa socket with 15AMP fuse? yung welder ko kasi ita tap ko pa lang sa mainline to run on 30amp fuse..di ba masusunog bahay ko? (newbie talaga!)

takot pa naman ako sa sunog!

difference to you ac? heavygat yung welder mo, my dc welder is just around 8 kilo
- mas matipid sa kuryente,
- less spatter at hindi maingay
- handy, etc

naka plug lang yung welder ko sa common outlet which i think its rated 30A.

you need to check your welder's amperage rating before tapping it. usually they tap their welder before the main fuse - after the kuntador 🙂

what i was looking for is that ground clamp! have you seen anything professional grade locally Jay?

i hate to take a photo of my ground clamp...its just a "j" 10mm deformed metal bar..hehe

so that is called a "stinger"!

Toolec has the same Tweco ground clamp I posted. Wyler has some good Lenco USA clamps too.

sir know any shop that repairs/services these inverter type welders?, have one of those italian made ones but the dealer already closed.....btw i now have a synchrowave 200dx with a trafimet watercooled torch... will take pics later, kakahiya yun diy torch cooler ko hehehe...

may promo sila sabi ni April (the seksitary) upto end of Feb. yung 200d is 14k. At yung 160d is around 11k. I think best value is the 200D

Very happy with this arc welding unit that I bought. Nung una ayoko maiwala sa mga sinasabi ng mga salepeople and mga reviews sa web. Mahal kasi almost 3x ng ordinary welding machine. But after using it for 2 days I am a believer of this DC Inverter Welding Machine. And planning to change my other welding machine to this one to maybe yung may tig na. Ipon muna ng konti 🙂

Comparison with AC arc welding and DC arc welding
1. Weight : yung yamato brand 2 kami nagbubuhat samantalang eto is around 9kls parang may karga akong bag.
2. Ease of operation: mabigat iikot yung amphere; daliri lang pang ikot kaya masmadali magtimpla-timpla
3. Electrical supply: kailangan makapal na wire : royal cord na gauge 12 ok na ( sinubukan ko yung AC welding naginit wire)
4. Performance: rough finish; smoother ang finish nya (kasi madali iaadjust yung amphere nya)
5. electrical consumption: Have not tested it yet pero sa tingin ko mas matipid yung DC kasi hindi nagiinit kahit anung wire.

Durability mukang ok naman ang Asea 200d used this yesterday around 15 rods of 7018 in a span of 1 hour ok naman hindi nagwarning then today mga 20 pcs of 6011, 10 pcs 6013 and 20pcs of 7018 all 1/8". Pero syempre mahirap parin sabihin kasi bago pa sya. Sana tumagal sya ng kamukaha ng Yamato (15yrs++)

Drawbacks ng asea is madali nakawin magaan kasi 🙂

ps really like their hyundai welding rod hindi gaano mausok

HI THERE bro joaquim,

I see you finally got your new welder and it seems you're so happy with it, well bro congrats for a new toy. In what branch did you ordered your welder, from QC ba or Ortigas Home Depot ? Its also nice to know that they are again having a promo for their clients, sana sinabi mo PHM member ka at hinanap mo si sir charles, owner of OCTOPOWERTOOLS and also a member of the PHM community.

I was at their Ortigas branch last December checking out also their welders, kaya lang tapos na promo nila na 20% off on their welders. I was checking out their 300amp Tig DC inverter, medyo mahal din pala. Bro this kind of inverter welders are much better than the old school welders like the YAMATO's or DAICHI's and others kasi mas matipid sila sa electricity and it can even be plugged in an ordinary outlet compared to the ones I have mentioned, their source of power needs to be directly tapped into a main safety switch lets say 60 amps or 100 amps fuses.

Bro how does it perform using the 7018 rods, and the 6011 rods, mukhang and dami monang na consume agad ah, hehehehe, and how's the cappings with the 6013 rods, OKS na oks ba ? 😀 :p
