Re: Powercraft PIW200 Review w/ pics

Actually they first quoted the powercraft ng 11.2k before but was able to haggle it down to 10,500 at that time though I bundled my purchase with a makita angle grinder. Siguro konting tawad pa but also baka talagang nagtaas na rin sila price. Bought it also from a younger looking guy there sa best achiever. I remember seeing a hitronic before na same specs ng powercraft (about 8.5k) but without the digital meter but decided to spend a little more for the powerctaft so I could get a more accurate ampere reading.

Re: Powercraft PIW200 Review w/ pics

Guys here's some pics of the powercraft after almost 10 kilos of assorted rods... as promised...

The pics were taken just before cleaning of the powercraft mainly by blowing filtered air on it. No sign of stress or damage on any of the components

There are 2 large white resistors in the upper pics that caught my eye. Are those scorch or burn marks indicating elevated heat on those parts or just dabs of the insulating varnish? Curious lang.:detective:

i think that's insulating varnish that got painted over on those resistors as shown on my previous post when i posted the pics when i first opened the powercraft a few months back...

Re: Powercraft PIW200 Review w/ pics

oh ok sir.. im so excited this machine hopefully i buy this week :eathis:

what if sir mike kung papipiliin ka ano gusto u jan? sa hitronic.rilon.riland at powercraft? me nag decide na me powercraft me hehehe.

Some discussions here made me laugh yesterday when I learned that brad onie13 ended up buying the YAMATO DC welder. Of course nothing against the Yamato welder, it was still his final decision to make but with all the asking and poking around for the right answers which I did not anymore participated in the discussions coz good answers were already being given and posted by our good friends here, well so I was really expecting to see another new Powercraft DC Inverter in the forum for another change. I was expecting may kapatid na welder ni bro Amboy, hehehe, solo pa rin pala, LOL 😀

I just wonder what changed his mind and went for the other weld machine ?

But of course we do respect the final decision of brad onie and we congratulate him for his new toy and may it serve him well for a long long time and with plenty of metal projects to come and be shared in the forum !! :cheerleader: 😉

Re: Powercraft PIW200 Review w/ pics

@ Bro miked,

Well this is a free country and if you feel the Yamato welder is a bit inferior for your liking, then go go go, benta mo habang may prospective buyer, tapos yung pera na makukuha mo tago mo muna and start saving for some more to be able to buy a better and more heavy duty welder like Rilon, Powercraft, HiTronic or Mitsuden. :chopper:
