Hello hello! I just bought a Hitronic TIG200 awhile ago and i overlooked buying the plug. i remembered they just told me to use a heavy duty one so i bought these at our local hardware store . .. are these enough? i know how to make simple extension cords but when i saw the ground wire on the machine , i got scared that i might mess up the wiring set up.
Hope you guys could help me with this. im soooo excited to weld something with this. thanks in advance!

Open up the cabinet and have a look inside. The ground wire typically connects to the cabinet/frame. The other two are the live wires.

manufacturer's usually follows wire color coding.

Oppsss.... better double check the internals...

Hi there bro kishinfishin,

Congrats with your new purchase of the HiTronic Tig 200. Just use the plug with the three prongs if there is really a need for the ground wire.
Based on the pic shown, your ground wire is the yellow with green line. You will need to buy a 30 amp circuit breaker with a built-in outlet attached
to one end. Try the Akari or the Firefly brand. At the other end you can attach the 10 or 12 mm electric wire with the standard two prong plug on it which you can now plug to an ordinary household outlet.

By the way if you are doing Tig, hope you have the argon tank already. Hope this helps.

Bro, the cabinet is the body casing of the welder that you have to remove to see the innards.

Don't you just love it when "standards" take away the confusion.... and replace it with mayhem. Hehehe.

equipment ground yung pangatlo, chief. instead na dumaan sa kung sino man makahawak sa unit (in case of malfunction) e sa pangatlong wire na iyan dadaan yung unwanted current provided it is connected to the ground.
