OK guys, I finally got the YAMATO DC Inverter yesterday afternoon and was so surprised at its size, its so compact and very light, even asked the seller Miss Mimi G and their staff if they are sure if its really the DC I have asked to reserve, and they said its the one. Then I asked to see and inspect the unit and really its as big of shall I say small as a shoe box. Then let also one guy there to test the unit and really again was so surprised at its performance, I said to myself wow I'm gonna like or love this DC inverter and when it was my time to test the unit and started applying welds on the thick metal, ang galing mga bros, while doing the weld application and doing the weaving pattern, you can only hear a sort of hissing sound or like one is blowing air from ones mouth, ganun kapino ang tunog, coming from welding rod and metal being welded.
Very far from my Yamato AC welder, plus it was producing lesser spatters and hindi gaanung nakakasilaw and another plus here was that it was easy to apply the welds, ang dali pati bumitaw ng buong slag.
Any way going back to the seller and her staff, they were all very friendly and very accommodating and I got a bit of discount from my purchase, I even introduced Miss Mimi G to the site of PHM and showed her the metalworking forum and my latest post here regarding welding application and she was very delighted. Also told her that there are a lots of our members here who are interested in purchasing this unit and requested her too to prepare additional units coz one of these days I'll be back with PHM members buying the DC inverter.
Maybe mga bros who are really interested in this unit, let's set a date para sabay sabay maka punta sa warehouse/planta, bro its not a store but a warehouse where they stock there units, mga direct importer and erpats ni Miss Mimi, baka tayo or kayo ay makakuha pa ng bigger discount, I'll be willing to accompany you guys there and let's test the units you will be buying, Oks ba yung plan na yon, what do you think mga bros ??
Anyway, so much for the intro on this welder and some kwentos, Here, I have posted some pics of the welder for your pleasure. I have not tested it yet coz I'm still working on fixing some wires and its own 20amps socket with its own circuit breaker. Thanks guys, I purchased this unit coz I really wanted to know the different welds this welder produces since it is a DC welder plus the price was very attractive and plus I have confidence with this brand, I just hope its make is as sturdy as the old ones, I mean like the original ACs before.
Its duty cycle based on its manual is rated at 60%, and the welding current adjustment range is 20 - 200A and weighs 9kgs. only, really very compact and light. A very portable welder indeed !! ;):)

I'm glad you are interested too for this unit, yes it is very light, compact and really portable, actualy its actual size is only 5 1/4" x 8 3/8" x 12", hehehehe, mas malaki/mahaba pa nga steel toe shoes ko, LOL. Yes bro start saving up for it, the welder's purchase price is very fair, madali mo yang maiipon, just confirm that you have the amount na and lets organize or set a date when to go to the warehouse.

Beer is fine after work. I usually hang around the shop after welding just to make sure that no slow combustion ( that can result in a later fire) is happening around.
Sparks , hot slags etc ... can caused unexpected fire long after the welder has left the premises. Thus it's a safety SOP to stay a while before leaving.
