HEHEHE, The new Yamato DC welder paired with a new Bosch angle grinder, still both inside their own boxes, pares talaga yan, kaya lang kulang pa ng ibang kapares, like a good welding helmet, good chipping hammer and a comfortable welding gloves, plus some clamps and vise grips :jawdrop: oooopppssss, alalay lang muna sa mga kapares, humahaba ang listahan, mapapalaki gastos ni brad onie13 , tsk tsk, magastos talaga ang hobby welding !!! :headache: LOL :hysterical:

Sa GAZEBO Forum, may mga sticky threads duon, mga tutorials on how to upload pics and how to reduce size pics to the correct size requirement. Pag aralan mo yun at makukuha mo rin kung papaano.

back to yamato.. ask ko lang sir kung ok lang ba yong saksakan niya baliktad? like red sa black then black sa red? kasi nabasa ko may positive at negative ano po ba dapat don ang gamitin? salamat

I just got my Yamato DC inverter the other day, very much happy with it : ), We're still in getting to know each other's mode hehe. I bought this because of the good reviews, I think with the proper use tatagal to : )
I saw the hardcase ok rin sya but I did not bought it dun lang ako sa naka box, buti na lng may discount PHM : ) tnx!

Yes brad onie13, pwede rin baligtad kung mas type mo ang reverse polarity, walang kaso yun, advantage is more deeper penetration and hot start. Reminder lang to observe the duty cycle and the OC red light, once nag red warning, stop and let the welder rest for a while, but I think matagal pa mang yayari sa iyo yan bro.

Electrode - RED
Ground - BLACK

DCEP - Electrode Positive. kung kelangang mas mainit ang welding rod kesa sa workpiece. generally applicable sa lahat ng welding rods.

DCEN - Electrode Negative. kung kelangang mas marami ang dapat maideposit na material sa workpiece.

So you finally decided on the YAMATO welder, congrats bro chie. Since you have taken welding lessons from Tesda, I guess there is no need for you to still be in the stage of getting to know it pa, kayang kaya mo nayan, chicken feed lang pag gamit ng DC welder na yan so GO GO GO na bro and start burning again those welding rods sa mga metal projects !!! hehehe:D

4 lang ba talaga yung transistor ng yamato inverter? 10 kasi nakita ko e....bale 6 yung transistor na nakamount sa circuit board na kung saan lumalabas na yung output current. take a look sa picture below:

4 IGBTs on the top board and 6 Dual Diodes on the lower board...

I noticed that my cables are getting raggedy. Marami nang tama ng mainit na bakal. One one part, the copper wire was exposed so I wrapped with rubber tape. Do hardware shops sell these cables? Would anyone know also a good electrode holder na hindi kamahalan?

I live in Antipolo and work in Balara so if anyone knows a source in this area, I'd appreciate some directions.

I will probably have to change my habit when I weld. I seem to just drop down the electrode holder incaringly kaya madali masira.

may binebenta sir ang mga hardware stores. sa mga iyan ako bumibili. if my memory serves me right, yung #38 welding cable na nabili ko ay approx. 30 petot per foot.

yung electrode holder ko naman eh Seiko 300A sa halagang P120 lamang. mas maganda ang quality kesa dun sa kasama nung unit. sina sirs rosy, jayl, bugel at mga kasama pang bakal boys malamang may masasabi pang mas magandang holders.
