I decided to use 1" x 1" x 3/16" angle bars for the flooring support then proceeded to cut the stocks

The Makita dry cut saw is making things easier ... it's as if I'm working on wood instead of mild steel.

I need to cut the angle bar edges so I can weld these with a flush top ....
I reload the grinder with a very very thin kerf cutting disc ...
I started cutting ... the added depth of the 4 1/2" grinder was useful ... the cutting disc performed as expected .

I reload the grinder with a grinding disc for fit up duty .. non locking paddle switch is so much more convenient for these small grinds .... but a cordless grinder would be perfect.
oopppps mistake ...... too much gap .... the Mig welder is very forgiving it will take care of this

If I try to weld these angle bars like this the Mig welder sound will be like a drive by shooting instead of frying bacon. The metal is too dirty ... quick runs on the bench grinder will solve this issue.
Here ready for tack welds now ... I hope it will fit without adjustments when I flip it over for the final install.
The project is beyong abort now ... it's do or die . Too much time spent on it already . Up to this point probably metal cost is around 800 pesos.
I could just have placed small cuts of angle bars if I just wanted to mount a flooring. However the main purpose of the above fitment is to strengthen the base.

The flooring base is now welded and flipped but didn't weld it to the base yet.
The shop automatically reverts back to default position after each session. It needs only sweeping.

@Rosy ... tignan natin bro kung mag imprve skills sa build ng cart. Balak ko sana sacrifice ko na isang table dito to make space for a welding table later. Yun nasa garaje ngayon tatanggalin ko o kaya convert sa welding table.

The steel delivery came. New Compact Steel here in Pasay will deliver purchases with a minimum of 5K. I had to order the welding table legs / support ( 2" x 2" x 2mm ) just to barely make the minimum delivery requirement. Long tubes are difficult to transport and if cut in shorter pieces don't usually yield maximum usage. 3mm thick tubes are not kept on stock and will need to be ordered in advance.
