Some last minute additions

Support for bolting the welder

One secret in drilling metals easily is using very sharp & quality drill bits. Metal dulls even cobalt bits so this Drill Doctor is a good investment for bits 3/16 up to 1/2". The smaller bits I just replace when these gets dull.

Hopefully if the weather tomorrow is shinny I'll give the cart several top coats and a single coat of 2K clear coat.

Slow posting days ... but here goes

It rain showered a bit today but the sun did shine so I decided to paint the cart

Here's the gun that pulled the job .. a Finex FX-1000 mini gun with 1.0mm tip. If you paint stuff other than large panels then this is a good gun. Paint like a Pro without breaking the bank. Comes highly recommended if I was to be asked. Very good performance at 8 CFM air consumption.

Started up late at around 2 pm

Base Coat - 2 passes . Very minimal over spray.

The cart ad ons ....

One pass of Clear Coat ... LOL it's just a cart so no need to spend too much paint on it.

Hay malapit na ito ... this cart will really make my welding more organized. I can move the welder instead of the WIP.

fixed the plywood ... the black wood screws I have are a bit long so had to cut these

the holes for bolting the welder

I prepared the wheels for painting ... masking is tedious so I decided to pull the bearings out using a Slide Hammer Puller.

Sanded the wheels a bit then primed with Bosny

bolted the welder to the cart while waiting for the primer to dry

2 coats of flat back Bosny ... when the paint dries up I'm going to hit it with 1 or 2 coats of clear

I decided to go with your suggestion to paint the wheels black instead of blue. Matagal din mag setup and linis ng spray gun for blue color .... and as you said too much color blue might be overwhelming na.
