This is an impressive thread Sir JayL, I have been lurking in the background for a couple of years now but felt I should join up to contribute. Bit daunting to read thru 47 pages but I am slowly taking in your work so far.
I have just imported a couple of Hobart welders products - a nice mig unit with mini spool and a plasma - I am having trouble finding a reliable source for cylinders, gas, wire and consumables.
Would it be appropriate to discuss my wants, your suggestions, on forum so others may share their thoughts?

Super Newbie here. I've been reading your posts particularly this thread. Very nice work here sir. Informative and inspiring! I just want to ask something regarding your purchase of your millermatic welder. Did you buy it from a local distributor or you bought it online and have it shipped? I'm not sure if you already mentioned that in your posts coz I haven't read them all.Lol. If it's the later, what was your plan if in case there was a problem with the machine? I assume you would ship it back to claim warranty.

Does anyone know the difference between the Magswitch magnet on cyberweld and this Magswitch grounding clamp? I think they're the same magnet but they both look a lot different. I'm thinking that the one on cyberweld is actually just an older model. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
