Yes bro ang mahal talaga ng Miller welding machines, whether its for stick welding, mig welding or tig welding, even their plasma cutters and generators, they are all very expensive. 😮 :p

Yes they are available here locally, there is one sole distributor somewhere in Libis Eastwood area, its TOOLEC Industries, they have their display of welders there and all the consumables needed are available there also. 😉 :rolleyes:

OT: Have you sir tried that portable welding machine, the one that's as big as a shoebox? It claims that it's high-amp (for thick ones?). Does it actually work (and last)? TIA

Nope I have not tried it yet but I've seen it in youtube, well yes maybe metal will stick to each other when welded but I guess it will not produce a good bead or good arc weld.

Though it is somewhat kinda cute but actually there is a smaller welding machine as small as a bottle of softdrink but I doubt very much if it will last long for big job application, I simply can't say much about this very small welder.

Thank you for your insight sir. I will be building a perimeter fence soon and I'm looking for ways to make the machine easier to carry than the wheeled behemoths we're used to. I guess I'll have to look for a solution other than buying a lot of wires. hehe

You might want check out Inverter type DC Welders. Lightweight and can be run on normal household outlets / extensions. Myself I won't go less than 200A if I'm getting one.

I purchased some quality auto body work tools to augment the MIG welder usefulness. German Made Peddinghaus and Gedore.

I need a handle for the hammer. Any tips where I could find good quality wooden hammer handles?

V IIRC Central Machinery is Harbor Freight.

I expect the welder first or second week next month. I'm overwhelmed by the amount of reading and info to digest in order to properly put this tool to use. It's a good thing that being a hobbyist only we can learn and work on our own time.

I'll report later if practical is easier than theory.
