Sir Rosy, do you think this can make durable welds like basic stick welding strength? Magkasing tibay kaya ang kapit?
I called them up , it seems very handy and affordable. They say it's the same same the large version except for the size. They don't sell small tanks, maybe we can rent small handy tanks?

Just want to share this video. Very similar to the Little Torch Pandatools is sharing with us. Its a video on how to set up the torch, its connection to the oxygen tank and an LPG tank or if you prefer an acetylene tank, etc etc.

Bonruiz,
If you are going to weld thick materials, I suggest you stick with arc welding, its easier and safer to use and much cheaper in terms of materials and consumables. Using gas welding (oxy-acetylene) will do the job but it will take a longer time and will be more expensive for you will still have to rent or buy 2 tanks, one for oxygen and another for acetylene plus 2 regulators for each tank. This process is very similar to Tig welding, which of course is ran by electricity.
In my opinion, this little rod is just perfect for smaller and detailed applications, metal arts (sculptures, jewelries etc) and other smaller repairs,
not necessarily structural .
