those prices of stainless pipe fittings are just right and fair, we all know naman na stainless fittings are much more higher in price than the GI pipe fittings. I do buy stainless pipe fittings at Big R Robinsons in Cainta and sometimes at SM Taytay and their prices are almost identical.

For air lines & piping setups there is much advantage in using stainless. Obviously no rusting. Only drawback I see is high cost but in my opinion worth it in the long run.

its all stainless, namamahalan lang ako masyado sa gate valve hehe Php579.75. and yes, dapat stainless or copper para hindi kalawangin. hindi ko pa nga muna binili at kinuhanan ko lang ng picture hehe thanks

Two years of a hard life in a commercial environment and this Vespa 2 HP is in for a rebuild. However I've decided to give it a new look too. Most probably Campbell Hausfeld blue and black colors.

Any sources where I could purchase High Temp Spray Can Primer.

I was thinking to use spray can for the motor and pump only because I need high temp paint. Unless I can get high temp paint that I can spray using a gun.

Paint stripping is a pain in the a%@. I hope by next year I can get a sand blasting setup up.

i painted my crank case and disc brake (at the center) and we all know na umiinit din yun, dapat pala nabasa ko ito kanina para nai compare ko yung heat build up...

Yun kasing orig vespa paint nag lobo lobo na. Malamang sa init dahil sa continuous use ng compressor. Yun 1 HP Vespa ko dito hindi naman ganoon kasi slightly used lang. Spoiled pa dahil me electric fan nakatutok pag nag spray painting ako.

Pero bilib din ako sa Vespa. Ok pa yun pump, sobrang dungis nga lang kaya gusto kong ayusin.

Here's a good use for sawdust. After letting the StripSol work it's way around the paint then put sawdust to make stripping easier.

Here's the pump now. Stripped to bare metal then primer painted and ready for black Hi Temp paint.

When this Vespa is done it will look like a Campbell Hausfeld clone ... hahahhahahaha . Good practice for my Speedaire repaint later.

I will also try Master Ryobi's Guilder primer on the tank.

I was expecting the old paint cleanup to be harder. However brushing the pump specially the fins with acrylic lacquer thinner ( after the stripsol procedure ) made the final stripping easier.

Here it's now painted.

I'll paint the motor black too. Vespa green and silver is too common already.

I didn't notice it at first. Look closely at the locking screw of the pulley. It was already breaking even before I took it off. Better follow Timber's mod to replace with stainless bolt if you happen to have a Vespa Compressor.
