what would be the minimum air compressor specs should i purchase for spray painting a car/car panels?
i've been doing some research and plan to paint my car and eventually put up a small paint shop business. thanks! 🙂
monitoring this thread ... i plan to spray paint myself the whole house we are constructing now ... i will also be buying a vespa air compressor for the job ... is it safe to assume that the PSI requirement for car painting is the same as painting walls and ceilings of a house? ... cheers

As far as I know you cannot use compressor and spray gun in painting walls and ceiling using latex paint. The latex/acrylic paint uses airless spray system.
But if your ceiling and wall is cladded by wood and need to finish using spray gun get a 2HP air compressor.
