I've been painting some of my iphone cases with RJ London's metallic silver spray paint. works well, except when i use clear lacquer spray paint over it.

Not sure if i have the wrong product or I've been applying the paint wrong, but for some reason the finish is somehow sticky. You'll feel it slightly stick to a table's surface even after 2 days. Also, accidentally alcohol dropped onto the case, and somehow it becomes really sticky, and my thumbprint is pressed onto it. :))

I'm not sure if applying more thin coats will help 😐

Help me please :))

Not familiar w/ the brand but when using aerosol finishes you must be able to know the different types of bases. There are Lacquers, Acrylics, Polyurethanes and Epoxy types that you must not interchange product mixes for each type. My guess is you must have used an Acrylic or Polyurethane type color base and then sprayed lacquer type as topcoat that's why the film never cured as evidenced by the stickiness you mentioned. Your case is toast as you know and if ever you decide to do it all over again stick only to a specific base like all lacquer products from primer, base color and topcoat. Also allow proper curing time between coats as indicated by the brand you will use. Btw, some plastics also react to solvents and may have a role in the curing failure. :goodluck:
