Re: Wood Putty, masilya
I think the most commonly used are polyester fillers like "polituff".
Re: Wood Putty, masilya
Yes, polituff is really tough. Not sure but I think it's epoxy based because it comes in two parts.
For ornamental filling, e.g. boxes, tables; I use Timbermate. It's sandable, stainable, and water based. It comes in different wood hues. Available in the larger Home Depot stores.

Mabilis matuyo yan, less than 5 minutes. Kaya yung kailangan lang na amount ihalo mo.
For shallow dents, pwede ka rin gumamit ng Glasurit putty. Polyester filler din sya, pero wala nang hardener. Eto yung mga green na masilya na makikita mo sa car.

Ok thanks nicomambo. I will try it today using the polituff. I will also try glasurit after consuming polituff.
With my experience, I used Polituff in my wood gate. Bad thing is the filler starts to fend off. Maybe because it's outdoor. The wood tends to expand during rainy days and contracts on sunny days. A reason to loose the filler.
