I have been contemplating about this matter this past few weeks, asking myself what has happened to the former active members here before me who have consistently contributed their beautiful and very informative WIPS. It is very noticeable that there names have stopped appearing on the latest thread list, I know these guys but will not mention their names anymore.

I am TRULLY saddened 🙁 by this event/events or developements that somehow the people we look up to and idolize for their extra ordinary WIPs / project have STOPPED POSTING on this site/forum with the exemption of a very handy individuals including myself trying very hard too to keep the forum alive and interesting. If you will notice this past few weeks or days postings have become so slow if not stagnant, the ones very active and informative forums have ceased to be one, now I have a question to ask, Is it still worth posting in this site/forum ?? Was there some politics behind all of this ?? Well I just don't know and have no idea really. Or maybe should I just simply find other forums outside where I can share and learn more from the contributions being posted??

I am so sorry for these that I cannot contain anymore how I feel and notice in this site/forum, I am just concerned and have learned to be supportive and loyal to this forum, I have learned so much and have widened my horizons in a way since I have joined PHM more than a year ago.

Rosy, if you are referring to me, you can view my post at www.cab1net.com... It is my brainchild and I have to promote it and make it work, thus my first priority. I'm sure you understand. I still support phm in many ways but I have to sell my stuff first before I sell other's.
A lot of us came from another site, moved here and if we decided to migrate, its a free world and our choice.

i remember the site "airfagev.com" years back were im active then #1 site then in mobile category until migration takes in.

Hi rosy, kamusta? You are right that this site used to have a lot of contributors before and we all know the reason and the person behind it. Aside from the forum, that individual also makes an individual effort to help us out even OUTSIDE the forum pa and that is something really worth considering.
Remember he does not own this site, and I'm guessing he is not one of the founders too. Now that he has his own baby, that he can steer towards the way he want it then who can really blame him.

To be honest, the reason I also used to be active here is bec of him. He has helped me in a lot of things and also introduced me to other members that made the site enjoyable aside from being educational.

Now that he frequents the other site, I feel I owe it to him to also support that site. Also never did I hear him tell me or the others to leave this site, kaya sana Hindi magkaroon ng wrong notion ang iba na he did.from time to time makikita mo pa din naman yung iba members dito. Kay a Lang sa uploading ng images masyado matrabaho and also yung pag answer ng mga queries. Mas easier na sa ISA ka Lang post ng concern ESP if that is more than enough na. Sa chat pa Lang ubos na oras para mag surf pa ng ibang site lol.

Don't feel bad ^bro rosy, andito pa din naman kami, nag iba Lang ng tambayan.

i must have missed any migration announcements, but it seems most of the frequent posters are there, you included. this is the second migration, iirc. this community used to be a tipidpc thread.

Hi all! Almost a year since last time I was here. That is due to work and travel and lazyness only. Thanks for keeping the site alive, we really need a site like this one to share information and get new inputs. And it's really nice to see what other people are doing also. I was trying to make a lift for gypsum boards, it turned out to be so much work, so I asked a friend to help and we put them all up in 2 days time manually.

I don't even think there's a migration going on. Both sites are complimentary to each other and one just have to read the site names to notice this.

Just my 02 cents observation.

i really thought PHM is dying...so i stopped posting here..but i never tried to transfer all my posts here to the cab.

my posts will die with phm..

so it will all be new posts in the cab for me..

i also feel the same sentiment, a dilemma where to go...and asking myself , is the pinoyhandyman dying ?

You, like most of us who joined this community were originally attracted by the volume of topics that we all share interest in. These and a few new ideas are what kept us going back plus the opportunity to share what we have to contribute. I hope that the continuous flow of projects and ideas like yours, JayL's and other forum members can keep it going. We are grateful for your effort and dedication to this cause. Well I was not able to read some of your post guys last night coz I was deep in metal working 'till the wee hours of the night.

Anyway I just want to say to all of you who reacted and posted replies up to this morning, thank you, thank you all for the support and understanding of my very simple observation. I never had any ill feelings for anybody, my concern really was to keep this forum alive and hope to see other members, active members before me to maintain and continue contributing and posting their very exceptional Wips that we all look up too.

Please let's keep this forum alive, many pinoy DIYers, newbies and professionals look up to this site/forum, let's not waste the opportunity of being able to share our knowledge or expertise in what endeavor we are in. I was once a lurker here and what attracted me to this forum before was seeing the many different projects possible for a simple DIYer, now more than a year of being a member and a contributor too would simply want see and let others feel what I felt before, that there is such a pinoy forum that we can turn to and learn so many thing in terms of proper use of tools and DIYing projects and camaraderie.

For all you guys still supporting this forum and keeping it alive and interesting, my heart felt thanks and appreciation. 🙂

Bro bryant77, thanks but no thanks, pre it should be a concern of us all here, ang daming umi idolo sa kagalingan ninyo !!! let us not disappoint newbies here who depend so much with guys like you and your expertise, example na lang your new thread on house designs, the more na naging idolo kita aside from your MDF projects, di ko akalain ang galing pala ninyong dalawa ni swmbo, like I said, matindi pala team up ninyong dalawa !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
