If I may share my point of view...

I still do visit PHM and fulfill my admin duties such as formatting, fixing, cleaning, kicking bots out and the like. On my part, I may just not have any DIY to post but I'm at the background.

I'm not sure about you guys but I have been a part of many fora and every forum has its peaks and few unfortunately eventually dies. It is just natural for any forum member to find a new site which he could join especially lurkers.

You may also think it this way - PHM was long dead even before. It was only Sonny who tried to post WIPS back then that made the people come to the site. Only then that the others was posting their own DIYs like Jay, Chisel, Jon, Moji, etc. I do not believe that people stopped posting, it just so happen that the boom of PHM was coinciding when the people had money, time and opportunity to make projects and so.

You may just be seeing the PHM at it's valley and since there is cab1net, it might be giving you the impression that people left PHM. Partially true but it is because everyone has their own priorities even lurkers. As many have attested, their hands are just full at the moment. Anyone should post theirs anywhere they feel - aside from that, it's just not fun anymore.

IMO, no one is boycotting anything. Maybe it's your time to post more of your projects so that the site may flourish once again - just like what the others did before. That way, it would be more constructive.

yesterday i was in my workshop for an hour getting things ready for my weekend in tanay. im doing a solar power set up in our house there for general lighting around the house. after maybe 30 min in the workshop, my wife walked up to me and said.. wow, linis ng workshop mo ah, i havent really seen you working or staying in your workshop.

being the case, i really didnt realize that YES, i havent been in my workshop for quiet sometime. NO WIPS, no nothing, been busy surviving lang talaga.

maybe in time, i just bought a house last week and will be doing renovations and putting it back in the market after. its play time for me. but how i wish things were simple and i could just stay in my workshop and be a carpenter and not think about earning money. SANA BALIK NALANG BARTER TRADE

Timber, Jarod, and JayL are good enough for me to carry the banner for this forum/site and they have proven it all these years , they are the best guys to lead the forum/site. I am satisfied by simply being a contributing member and I can see I am doing effectively too same as other good guys here who have done also terrific contributions as well. These guys before me have become also my inspiration and have learned so much from them that is why I try hard also in my little own ways to be at par with them so that I can also share something very useful for aspiring DIYers. 😉

Bro ganun na lang gawin natin, be a reliable, good, and sensible contributing members so that we can continuously share whatever knowledge we have, marami rin naman ang nakikinabang. Mas simple pa buhay , hehehe !!! :p
