Yes kabasor (bro Jovie), I think CENTER INDUSTRIAL SUPPLY CORP. is the authorized outlet and partner of ESAB here in the Phil.

Called them up last August for some inquiries regarding their welding outfits and other accessories and yes this Origo-Tech ADF Helmet cost Php 6,000.00, and they only have the yellow kind. 🙂

[COLOR="Navy"]They also carry Otos ADH but it is not available at the moment. Otos is the OEM of Miller ADH btw. If one is lucky to catch Otos ADH in the local market it is as well wearing a Miller ADH.

I was there just minutes ago, and CSIC also offer an Optech ADH for P3500.
Looks just like this:

Sensitivity pegged to two presets (High/Low), and a no-presets external dial
for darkness (9-13). I'd come to buy the ESAB Origo 9-13 in yellow, but alas, I
chickened out at the last minute and got a Rilon ADH from Topphand instead.
P2400 out the door.

It seems more than a little flimsy, but we'll see.
I have a feeling I'll be getting the ESAB before the year is over, and handing
the Rilon off to one of our welders. PHM is a bad influence. Very bad.

Well bro you shouldn't have chickened out with the ESAB ORIGO-Tech ADH, it has very good features and with a 2 year warranty. Their line of helmets are in the same league as the other known ADH like the OPTREL, 3M SPEEDGLAS, JACKSON's TrueSight and MILLER.

It is good we have a local partner/distributor of ESAB in the country. Buying the helmet abroad will have almost the same price they charge it here plus the hassle of shipping cost and waiting.
If only you just checked my post regarding ESAB's brand, PPE & Welding Accessories, its all there and these convinced me personally and I feel they are serious in their PPEs and they stand firm on all their equipment and accessories aside from their welding machines too.

HEHEHEHE, PHM is not really that bad, we are all in the same boat, be glad there are people or members here willing to share and direct you to a good product which you will not regret in the long run. 😉 Value your pair of eyes, its difficult to be flashed constantly during your welding sessions.

Locally bro its 6K, but they only have the Origo Tech color yellow.
If one tries to googgle its brand, Esab will give you several models to choose from.

6k looks like a good price for a branded ADH.

Not all ADH lenses are made equal. The more expensive ones can accommodate low amp TIG welding. If I was to stick or mig weld then I don't think that buying the very expensive ones can really give much advantage.

Here's my new ADH from ESAB......the NEW TECH 9-13 ADC Plus.

Probably you've seen this already in New tool (loot) Purchase thread. Thought I'd share it here too together with other ADH from other members.

Now out of the box.

With a large viewing window, powered with solar cells and with two sensors above.

Head gear strap is well padded at the front and back.

Sorry bro Ding, I missed this one, problem with no Latest Thread in the index page, many new post have been left buried and un answered.

Anyway Ding, your Neiko is not that bad, it will be perfect for occasional welding use and probably bigay mo na lang kay Abe yan, then buy another ADH, a better one so that when you do welding together, you'll both be wearing a helmet each. Actually you can buy a good one from Toolec or from My Tools Shop in Cainta. You can also have an Esab ADH, if you prefer a better one, there is a local authorized shop some where in Quezon City. Same price as our YAMATO DC weld machine. 😉

Well bro, mine came out a bit pricey but its cheaper than Miller or Lincoln or 3M Speedglas. Hindi kasi available locally mga models na binili ko. :rolleyes:
